Tendring Colchester Borders has won a Pineapple Award!

We're proud to be part of the collaborative design team for Tendring Colchester Borders, one of the most ambitious proposals for a new garden community in a generation.

The project won in the Future Place over 20ha category and was praised for its bold vision and distinctive approach to intergenerational living, offering an optimistic model for future urban environments. The judges described the Borders Garden Community as presenting a compelling and robust vision for future built environments across the UK.

The project is led by Haworth Tompkins, and we were brought in to contribute to phase 1, the detailed component of the hybrid planning application. See more about our role here
